Rich Concepts: Who in our community can keep us safe? Fire Safety
On Thursday Constable Fawcett came to talk to us about being a policeman. We asked him lots of questions and he gave us answers. We had fun comparing the information we got with what we knew about the Ambulance Service. It was a bit scary being in the police van cells!!





Thankyou to those who gave paid the $3.50 for the Kath Bee Show this Thursday.
Nicola Harwood will be teaching in Totara Week 10 and Week 1 of Term 3 while I am visiting my daughter Kate in the UK.

Wow, what clever kids we have in Totara!
They did a super job with their Assembly last Friday- thanks to the parents and grandparents who supported us.

We are finding out about the Police. Today Constable Jennifer brought her patrol car to school and answered our questions, showed us inside the car and turned on the flashing lights and sirens. Tia got to try on the vest!

Last Thursday we wrote an explanation on how to make a sandwich. We had fun practising making either a vegemite or honey sandwich. Jamie took some photos showing how much we enjoyed it.




Scarlett made a piƱata for
Mrs O'Connors last day with us. Beetles Reading group read a story on how to make one. Yum- lollies for everyone Thanks Scarlett!!
