Rich Concepts: we have finished our learning about why Healthy food is important. Make time to discuss with your child their thoughts about food- making sensible choices for school lunches.

The Arts: Over the last 2 weeks all classes have participated in our curriculum swap centred around Sound Art, Visual Art, Dance and Drama. This swap was highly successful and children enjoyed being taught by a different teacher.

Buddy Time- Last Friday Totara joined with Harakeke to build boats. They worked with their buddy creating magnificent sailing vessels. Later that afternoon we sailed them in the pool!

What amazing experiences Totara had last week! Mrs Holmes made plum jam and bread in class. Talk to your child about those two experiences.

Our trip to Wee Red Barn and New World was a great success!! The children learnt so many new things about food, how it is grown and where it comes from.
A huge big thankyou to all the parent drivers !!

Chloe and I are away on a course Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The relieving teacher will be Mrs Holmes.
